Hello and Welcome to Sign and Bloom!

My name is Jayde and I'm so excited to have you here!

I've always loved to write and I wanted to create a little blog for such a very long time, but alas life has always been so busy and as a result it's just never materialised, but I have learned over the years that life doesn't stop for anyone and if you want to do something in life, you have to do just that!!

So here we are, years on and rearing to go as we finally celebrate the exciting launch of Sign and Bloom, I am thrilled to be able to introduce you to our shiny new blog!

I can't wait to chat and get to know you all as we build a dedicated platform committed to supporting parents, carers and professionals alike.

I have a true passion for supporting children's communication and development and I can't wait to share lots of fun tips and ideas for you to enjoy!!!

Sign and Bloom is so much more than a business to me, I have a strong desire to build a close knit, supportive community where we can chat, share and support one another without worry or judgement, no one should ever struggle on their journey alone, no matter what that journey entails, so take a seat wherever you may be, grab a cuppa and enjoy the ride!!!

About Me:

My name's Jayde and I live in Tameside, Manchester, and when I’m not immersed in the world of early years, SEND and Makaton madness, you’ll find me out and about exploring nature with my little family and making special memories...

My journey in the field of special education and communication has been driven by a strong desire to create a more inclusive environment where everyone can express themselves effectively no matter their age or developmental stage!

Sign and Bloom:

Sign and Bloom was developed from a strong vision to provide comprehensive and accessible Makaton training to individuals, families, and professionals.

As an Early Years Educator, Makaton Tutor and SEN parent, I’ve seen the incredible impact that effective communication can have on an individual's life and I understand how important it is to support and develop our communication.

Makaton, a unique language program using signs and symbols to help people communicate, has proven to be a powerful tool in developing understanding and expression.

I launched Sign and Bloom with a desire to bridge the communication gap and to offer accredited Makaton training that empowers everyone to bloom in their own way as they flourish into their new found communication skills.

Our goal is to make communication more accessible, inclusive, and FUN for all!!!
